The company GenericTest GmbH was founded in 2010 by the shareholders Gennady Levkovskiy, Moskau and Erich Dunz, Mühltal.
Erich Dunz ist managing director with the authorisation to conduct legal transactions in his and the company's name. For the last 40 years he has been working in the fields of testing technology and hydraulic systems for material and component testing.
Gennady Levkovskiy is shareholder of GenericTest. He is also owner and CEO of LLC Novatest Moskau.

GenericTest GmbH has supplied and installed plants in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazaschstan, Czech Republic, and Iran.

In January 2014 the firm moved with four employees into the new offices situated in the Schenk Industry and Technology Park in Darmstadt.
